This beautifully renovated home is breath-taking.  One of the original Fire Island Development Company houses, a gut-renovation by an award-winning designer brought the cottage firmly into the current century.   The current owners enlarged the living spaces, adding a screened dining porch, a second floor office with sofa bed and an expansive bay view second-floor deck.

The enclosed porch at the front of the house offers a quiet seating area and a cozy cafe table for an afternoon tea or cocktail. The living room is open with casual seating and TV viewing.  A screened porch, accessed through either the living room or the kitchen, creates a spacious dining area that runs behind the kitchen and living areas.  Three bedrooms are set off from the main living area, situated along the south side of the main house.  All bedrooms have queen-sized beds. They share a full bath and a powder room.  A private fourth bedroom is situated on the north side of the house, with queen-sized bed and en suite powder room.

The house is sheltered and private, but this prime location allows easy access to the bay, the ocean, the camp and the center of the Village.
