Linda Cahill, her husband and four children first came to Saltaire, Fire Island over 25 years ago. We have wonderful memories of the times that we spent growing up together.

During our early years, all four children attended Saltaire's camp program, first as campers; later as counselors. We joined in the Village activities. Some of my fondest memories include annual trips to the Sunken Forest, the rangers’ nature guides of Saltaire, and the lectures (and laughter) at Village Hall. We spent a lot of special beach and boat time together.

We are active members of the Saltaire Yacht Club. Over the years, I was a member of the Saltaire Yacht Club Board of Trustees serving as Sailing Captain, Vice-Commodore, and later as Commodore. We learned to play tennis and sail at the club.

I have a true love of Saltaire, Fire Island. I am delighted to share that love with you and to give you a tour of our Village. I look forward to hearing from you.

New York State Licensed Associate Broker, Eugenie Meluso, was eight days old when her parents first brought her to Fire Island. As a young girl, Eugenie spent summers in a home that her Father built on Crest Walk in Saltaire. Eugenie attended the Saltaire Day Camp and eventually became a counselor.

Now a married mother of two, Eugenie recently became a homeowner in Saltaire and enjoys the use of her home throughout the year. Eugenie is actively involved in the well-loved “Grand and Glorious Saltaire Bazaar”, an annual village fundraiser.

The Melusos are active members of the Saltaire Yacht Club. Eugenie’s husband Geoffrey is on the Club’s Board of Trustees and helps to run the Sailing program that is enjoyed by children and adults. Eugenie is looking forward to helping you find your ideal summer getaway in Saltaire.
