Saltaire summer rentals provide an excellent introduction to Saltaire’s community life. The general price range for rentals is $3,000 to $10,000 per week, with a two week minimum rental period. We do not offer weekend or mid-week rentals. Monthly and seasonal rentals are the norm. Please note that Saltaire, Fire Island is a family community. Group rentals and time shares are not permitted.

Homes available for rent are fully-equipped. There are linens, towels, fully-stocked kitchens, beach chairs, bikes, and wagons. Each house has a washer and dryer. Most homes have a dishwasher. Many houses have a BBQ, but barbequing has recently been introduced to Saltaire, so do inquire about a BBQ if this is an important vacation home item for you. Most homes offer satellite TV, and many have (or can order) DSL service. Please inquire about features that are of special interest.

Families who rent in Saltaire are able to join the Saltaire Yacht Club, which is a center of community activity. The Club has a restaurant and excellent tennis and sailing programs. A variety of entertainment keeps members busy throughout the summer.

The Village has a day camp for children aged 4 to 12. Children may be enrolled by the week, the month or the season. There are lifeguards at the bay and ocean beaches.
The community has an excellent EMS squad and volunteer fire department. There is always a doctor on call during the season. Saltaire security meets every ferry and will help the elderly or infirm to and from the boat if requested. The Saltaire market cheerfully delivers to your home and will special order special items for special occasions. This is your vacation. Saltaire makes it memorable.
